The Terms and Conditions of Sale are completely explained in our Price List & Guide to Buying Lamp Shades, which will be sent to you with your Catalog. A brief synopsis of the Terms & Conditions is as follows:

Minimums: The minimum quantity is only four of a size and style (four of the same shade). If the material comes in more than one color, you can usually combine colors in the same size to make up the four (such as two white and two beige). Minimum order is $150.00 before freight. We do not accept orders below these minimums.

Payment & Terms: You may pay for your order in advance, or open an account with us. We do not ship C.O.D. or charge to credit cards. We are happy to extend open account privileges to customers with established credit ratings. To open an account, please use our credit application. Since it takes time to check references, we suggest that new accounts pay in advance for the first order. Terms for open account customers are strictly Net 30 days. Orders will not be processed for customers whose accounts are overdue.

Advance Payment: If you are paying for your order in advance, we will send or fax you a pro-forma invoice for the total amount of your order. Please send us a check as soon as you receive the pro-forma invoice, to speed production of your order. We offer a 2% discount to customers that pay in advance.

Account names & numbers: One aspect of our personal service is that we don't use account numbers. Your account name is the name that appears on your checks! Please check to see that your name appears on our invoices the same way it appears on your checks, so that your account is credited properly. Please contact us immediately if there are any discrepancies.

Confirmations & Acknowledgments: Acknowledgements are sent via fax or US Mail for every order. Please review the acknowledgement carefully, as it contains the exact information used to produce your shades. If there is anything wrong on the acknowledgment or Pro-Forma invoice, contact us immediately. Cancellations are not permitted after your order is in production.

Order Processing Time: Orders are normally shipped three to four weeks from the date we receive them. All shades are custom-manufactured for you. We have no finished shades in stock. Orders are processed in the order they are received. In rare cases, some special items, where we have to make special materials, trim, wires, etc., may take longer than normal.

Shipping Information: Prices are F.O.B. our factory in New Brunswick, NJ. Freight costs are paid by the purchaser. Orders are shipped via the least expensive method, usually by most economical truck. Please specify if you have a preferred trucking company. Smaller orders are usually shipped via United Parcel Service.

Defects, Returns and Freight Damages: We stand behind our products and want you to enjoy doing business with us. If you receive damaged shades, or in the rare event you receive defective shades, please contact us immediately, so that we can correct the problem. Since all shades are made to order, we do not accept returns of shades produced as ordered, (we have no way of reselling them). Freight claims are filed by the party paying the freight charges.

In the case of conflicts between this page or website and the Terms and Conditions of our published Price List, the published Price List takes precedence. Terms and Prices are subject to change without notice.
